When I was 4, my mom was getting her degree and had to leave early every morning for school. I’d wake up with her, sitting quietly as she got ready, and I’d walk her to the door, watching from the doorstep as she drove away. Every day, I asked her not to go, but she didn’t have a choice—school was important, and she had to focus.

Even though my mom was busy, some of my favorite memories were the moments we spent together during storytime. She’d read The Berenstain Bears, using different voices for each character, and those moments meant the world to me. Reading together became a special way for us to connect, even when we didn’t have time to talk about personal things. That’s why I’m creating StoryTime by Axis.

Today, parents are busier than ever, and kids crave time and attention. Sometimes, they just want to share a moment reading a book. With StoryTime, even when work or school gets in the way, parents can still create those meaningful moments with their children.
